At 3km (4 mins drive) is the main ski lifts at Kreischberg (2002m). You can also take the little local train from the stop directly outside the chalet development. The ski pass allows for free travel on the train.
Kreischberg itself has 45km of pistes for all levels and hosts a number of international snowboarding events. The attractive resort is particularly suitable for families, having ski and snowboard schools close to a magic carpet, baby lift, and uncrowded skiing on wide pistes. There are 3 chairlifts, 6 drag lifts, a cable car, mountain restaurants and bars, snow park, half pipe, cross country tracks, toboggan run, children's tubing Park, curling, and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
Kreischberg has a sophisticated snow cannon system which guarantees snow from December to Easter. A new 6 seater lift and new runs were built in 2008.
